Commercial Cannabis Businesses & COVID-19 Updates

Good Afternoon,

Given the severity of COVID-19, we at Global Go are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date notices and information released to help the industry during this stressful time.

On March 21, 2020, the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recently released guidance on sanitization policies, best practices for social distancing, and recommendations that can be implemented at home and in the workplace to reduce exposure to COVID- 19.

Please find the latest updates from the BCCCDFAand CDPH below released on March 21, 2020:

All three cannabis state agencies have stated that cannabis is an essential medicine for many people, therefore licensees may continue to operate as long as they comply with local rules and regulations. Licensed operators must also comply with social distancing and anti-congregating measures. This means, avoiding large gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters) from others when possible.

The CDPH is reminding licensed manufacturers to adhere to the written Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) established within their facilities to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Please contact us if you need help in identifying whether your operation is an “essential business” under local law or assistance in analyzing your current GMPS to create updated emergency quality control protocols during this time. Our office number is (760) 671-5647.
