Announcing Global Go Mexico!

Global Go and Axess Ventures (d.b.a. Bella Green Ventures) are excited to announce the expansion of Global Go into Mexico. Axess Ventures, a pioneer in Mexico’s growing cannabis industry and with this alliance, will now operate as Global Go Mexico, facilitating the expansion of cannabis/hemp companies and interests, and cannabis/hemp investments, across the border between Mexico and the United States.  Global Go Mexico will occupy Axess Ventures’ current offices in Mexico City.

Gerardo Agraz
CEO/Co-Founder

Gerardo Agraz is a strategic business consultant and investor. He co-founded Axess Ventures Mexico, where he relentlessly seeks profitable companies who want to contribute to the betterment of mankind. He has led several ventures across sectors and stages, with a passion for companies reinventing huge industries like healthcare, T&T technologies, biotechnology and education. Agraz has more than 15 years of business development and government affairs experience, which makes him an incredible asset and advisor to business owners in a highly regulated industry.

Gerardo holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from the IPADE.  He also holds several Executive Business Programs certifications in Innovation to Business Strategy and Capital Venture from Stanford University and Wharton University, respectively. In 2018, Gerardo launched FAR foundation, a non-profit organization that provides support, services and education to individuals, families and caregivers affected by Alzheimer’s and other mental diseases.

Luis Miguel Lopez

Luis Miguel is the executive vice president of Axess Ventures Mexico. He has a unique and unparalleled track record as an entrepreneur, government executive and business consultant. Over the last decade, Luis Miguel has successfully advised several government entities, as well as large global companies securing massive business transactions within the oil and gas sector, agriculture and food industries for the Asian and LATAM markets.

Luis has been instrumental in designing Axess Cannabis portfolio from its inception to its consolidation. As a founder, Luis Miguel has a seat on Bella Green Ventures board, a pharmaceutical cannabis startup company, where he helped built its successful foundation to its initial round of private investment. Luis Miguel serves as President of CANNAINVEST, a business summit that explicitly promotes social responsibility while promoting investment for the cannabis industry.

Luis Miguel holds a Bachelor in International Relations from the Universidad de las Americas-Puebla, Mexico, and the Université Savoie Mont Blanc, France, with post-graduate studies in Public Policy from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium; Diploma in Program Evaluation and Public Administration Projects by the ITESM; and in European Regional Development for the Socrates Scholarship program of the European Union at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain, and l’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, France, and the Executive Program “Strategy Beyond Markets” at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

Gerardo has more than 20 years of legal experience, specializing in M&A, finance and corporate matters in a variety of regulatory sectors. He possesses detailed knowledge of public administration and regulations; design, development and execution of legal, lobbying and communication strategies; as well as high-level political negotiation.

Prior to joining Axess Ventures Mexico, Gerardo practiced in the energy, infrastructure and regulatory departments of large Mexican and American law firms.  Then he founded Serrano Galicia Abogados, representing local and foreign clients in energy, infrastructure, public-private partnership, government procurement, regulatory, healthcare, and M&A matters.

Gerardo received his JD from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico Law School in 2002.

Julio Sanchez

Senior Advisor

Julio Sanchez possesses over 20 years of experience in regulatory agencies in the Mexican Government. Prior to joining Axess, Julio served as the Executive Director of the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risk (“COFEPRIS”). During his time in COFEPRIS, he coordinated and directed several strategies focused on the improvement of access to quality medicines in the public and private market.

During his work in COFEPRIS, he was appointed as Vice President of the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA) for the Period 2017-2018. Julio currently presides over the international nonprofit academic organization Aló ProScience, a Latin American Association of Regulatory Affairs Professionals focused on promoting Good Regulatory Practices and Regulatory Policy in the region while training and educating regulatory professionals.

Julio holds a law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Puebla and studied a master’s degree in Economic Development from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain.

Jonathan Kirschner

Chief Financial Officer

Jonathan Kirschner has more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur in different sectors, founding his first business at the age of 20 years old. He also has been a financial advisor to different sectors, such as construction, real state and pharma, among others, for the past 10 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in financial administration and project management, certified in investment strategies, from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.
